When I click on the icon in the toolbar and then mouse into the content of that page, the mouse pointer never changes to a skull, and nothing can actually be killed. It seems to happen 100% of the time. I'm happy to do a screen capture gif if that's useful...

Thank you for the bug report! Of what I know of notion, I imagine it's a big hairy single page application, which might interfere with ekills way of working, through some JS bamboozlery. I'll have to look into it. 👍
Using ekill in Firefox 71 (and later) on MacOS, it seems to work pretty nicely -- thanks for such a useful add-on!
Unfortunately, one page that I use regularly has animated gifs which are super-distracting, and seems to somehow disable ekill: https://www.notion.so/Learn-the-shortcuts-66e28cec810548c3a4061513126766b0
