Reproduction of Why Don’t the Poor Save More?
This repository is a reproduction of “Why Don’t the Poor Save More? Evidence from Health Savings Experiments" by Pascaline Dupas and Jonathan Robinson
The activity reproduces Table 3 from the paper, which is the main output table.

Datasets: (1) HARP_ROSCA_final.dta. This dataset includes all four data sources listed above, already merged at the individual level. All variables are labeled in the dataset.
Do-File The do-file named HARP_analysis.do produces all the results in the paper and the appendix. The code that produces Table 3 is the only part of the .do file that was edited as part of the reproduction activity.
