try the one from o"old NW.js

When I upgrade to 0.5.0 this is starting problem with black screen. If I use VLC player or Media Player Clasic in Popcorn Time I don't have problem.

I'm also seeing this issue with 0.5.0 on Gentoo Linux. Playing with VLC instead works just fine.

The video I am encountering the issue with is hevc encoded (though I have yet to try other files)

This is the console log, but it doesn't really seem to show any obvious video (codec) error:

@AndrewAmmerlaan You can try the same solution (the old nwjs flavor, its the only one we used in 0.4.9) but I'm not sure it will do much for this. Hvec support was never the best in the native player and was always best left to supported external players.

What does this mean ("the old nwjs flavor")? I maintain the ebuild for popcorntime in ::gentoo which basically wraps around the .deb files from the releases page here. I've not had this problem with any of the previous versions.

I'll try this version a bit longer to see if I can find some pattern in which videos play and which ones don't (so far n=1 and that one was hevc but this used to work fine).

I just figured out what this means. I downloaded the other version from the releases page and tried to play the same file. This version works fine so it seems to me that whatever is the issue is somehow related to the nwjs version.

Without posting specific filenames, a problematic file is hevc (Main), yuv420p(tv, progressive), 1280x640, [SAR 1:1 DAR 2:1], 24 fps, 24 tbr, 1k tbn (default).

Audio plays, video black. Tested with an H.264 video, worked fine.

Where did you download NW.js version?
I'm using Windows 10 OS.

How to install NW.js?
Do you need just copy files in Popcorn Time folder?
