Currently the recurring payments rely on the Stripe Checkout Session, which we will not have after getting #1272 .

That means that we will have changes both on the frontend and the backend if we want to support the recurring donations.

Describe the solution you'd like

Follow the guide by Stripe on using custom fields to create subscriptions.
I did not find documentation on that, but they have a full example of how it works
