If Mana is the bottleneck resource, every time a queued Mana Syphon A.R.P.A. project completes a 1% chunk, it also cancels some of your active rituals. I only noticed this happening because the expected completion time was dropping abnormally quickly, and then I saw Mana generation going up over time.
As an aside, it also happens if you manually build at or very close to 50 Mana, so it's not specifically a queue issue (or, I assume, a Mana Syphon issue), but that's just an easy way to make it happen consistently.
