hello great job, but i was wondering if there would be a way to put cards w dates on a calendar view (google style) so user assigned to those cards would see their appointements ?
if so how would i do it ?

Hello!
Did you mean export cards with a date to the calendar? Or to add the calendar view inside the Planka?
In the first case, you can do this with a custom service that listens for date changes on the cards and puts them right into the calendar.
It's hard to explain here, I'll try to make a separate repository with an example sometime.

i had a calendar view in mind, but the option to push to google calendar would be neat !, where would i begin to create a custom service that would be usefull ? ( got some coding exp. 5/10)
this would also add email notifications via the calendar notification system :) wouln dt that be great :)

You can try to do it this way:

1. Create a «Google Calendar» user and add it to the needed boards.
2. Authenticate from the service for this user (POST /api/access-tokens) and get the token.
3. Fetch projects (GET /api/projects) and get all available boards.
4. Connect via a websocket and fetch each board (GET /api/boards/:id), examples of requests can be seen in the browser (Developer Tools -> Network -> WS). When you request a board via a websocket, you sign up for all notifications on that board.
5. Listen to the cardUpdate event and if there is a date there, create an entry in Google Calendar via API. Probably there should be some database that will link ids in Planka with ids in Google Calendar (to change the date instead of creating a new entry every time), also to associate users in Planka with users in the calendar.

It's a little complicated, but we'll definitely add more synchronicities in the future 🙈
