USB Loader won't open

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. When I try to open the loader, it goes to a black screen quickly and then 
back to the Wii home page.
2. I see that the external hard drive lights come on when the USB Loader is 
trying to start
3. It was working last night but now t his am doesn't and I didn't update the 
Wii or anything, my son just turned the system off when he was done playing.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?  I tried restarting the 
wii and un plugging both the Wii and the HDD but neither worked.  I also tried 
putting the USB on the other port and t hat didn't work either.


What version of the loader are you using?  I'm not sure, it won't even let me 
open it to see the version.


What is your System Menu version (e.g. 4.2u)?  It has been a long time since 
I've updated the Wii but again this was working last night and now isn't.


What is your media type (HDD, USB Flash, SD/SDHC)? HDD


How is your media formatted (wbfs, fat32, ntfs)? not sure.


Which cios are you using, which version, which base (222,249,...)?
(Please try both 249 and 222 with cfg-222.dol) not sure


Does it work with other loaders? Not sure


Does it work with the latest or an older version? It is an older version but it 
was working last night.


Please provide any additional information below.
