If for some reason you're unable to install the chrome extension from the Google Web Store, you can use unpacked installation as an alternative.
- Download or clone this repository to your desired location
- Open the Extension Management page by navigating to
chrome://extensions - Enable Developer Mode by clicking the toggle switch next to Developer mode
- Click the load unpacked button and select the directory where this repository was cloned/downloaded (unzip the archive and select the folder)
- Re-download/pull the latest version of this repository to the original install location
- Open the Extension Management page by navigating to
chrome://extensions - Click refresh beside the already installed extension
If you wish to use your an alternative Algolia index (your own or custom provider, probably via Bulma Search) you can customize the app ID and key within this extension's options.
