I have two monitors, one 4K, the other 1440p. The bootsplash is perfectly centered on the 1440p one, while the 4K monitor shows it in the upper right corner.
Seems like it's just showing the 1440p rendered bootsplash, thus too small and defaulted to upper left corner.
