How to search for POIs on the route?

Google maps had the feature while navigating to search for POIs close to the route such as fuel stations. Osmand does not have that in the same quality yet. While navigating I can start a search: Search->Categories->FuelStations->Show on map.
The distance counters on the list show the distance from here, it would be useful to have calculated distances that are added to the default route.
In the list of POIs "one the route", there should be some sorting by distance and/or distance from route.

After a POI is selected it's possible to add it as additional point on the route as usual.
