Unable to use Zeus CLI, multiple dependencies errors

Hi! I wanted to try Zeus CLI, but I was not able to launch it.

I followed the documentation and install @zeppos/zeus-cli. It was version 1.5.19. When I used it for the first time with zeus create hello-world I got this:

I then tried to install zeppos-app-utils manually. It did fix it, but then I got this:

I was also getting the same error on Mac M1. Installing sharp doesn't fix this error.

Finally, I tried installing the module locally and not globally. I got this:

Named the <projectName> project and add to the current directory.

I also tried it with different versions of Node (16, 18, 20, 22) and different package managers (npm, yarn, pnpm). All failed.

Can you help me setting up zeus cli?

Unfortunately the VM is for x86 and I get an error on my M1 Mac.

I am not too familiar with VMWare and how would I set it up to run x86 images. Probably has to do something with Rosetta. But that is too much to handle for a small experiment.

If you need more information on the installation of packages, I am ready to help.

I see. How exactly do you install zepp-cli? It should be installed with a global flag so you shouldn't be running it like this ./node_modules/\@zeppos/zeus-cli/bin/main.js create hello-world, instead it should be run zeus create myproject.

Make sure you run cmd with admin rights, then:
npm i @zeppos/zeus-cli -g
zeus should contain zpm but who knows what went wrong so you can install it separately.
npm i @zeppos/zpm -g

If that doesn't help, you can try to clean up everything and install an older version with say npm i @zeppos/zeus-cli@1.5.1 -g.

Yes, I understand. I tried all that on my Mac. It didn't work.

I was finally able to install zeus-cli and create a project inside a Docker container. Thank you for your support.
