Does tmux support the Kitty image protocol?

I don't think tmux explicitly supports/implements an API from kitty
But yes, you can display images using the kitty image protocol inside tmux

kitten icat foo.png

You can find it in kitty's CHANGELOG entry for 0.28.0

• icat kitten: Support display of images inside tmux >= 3.3 (#5664)
• Graphics protocol: Add support for displaying images inside programs that do not support the protocol such as vim and tmux (#5664)

You may need to add this line to your ~/.tmux.conf, though I'm not entirely sure. I've had it there for a long time

set -g allow-passthrough on
