I tried connecting directly to the Supabase database using QGIS 3.8 and 3.10 but the connection failed; the error is in the subject. The connection was successful with QGIS 3.22, the current LTR. Since QGIS is a rather big installation, and is common for users to not have the current version, I want to know more about the connection issue with older QGIS versions. It is a use case for end users to connect directly using a PostGIS client with their own credentials and permissions.
