Adjusting Sidebar width?

Sorry if this is a junior question. I have bought the Diamond template and need help adjusting the width of the sidebar to accommodate different languages. I was able to find the class to adjust the width, but once you interact with it by closing it, the newly extended width will still appear on the screen. Looking for some feedback thanks!
