Issue with ICU Library Versions in Custom PHP Buildpack Using Alpine Stack

Hi everyone,

I'm encountering an issue with my custom PHP buildpack, which uses "alpine" as the stack. During runtime, I receive the following error:

docker run --interactive --tty --env PORT=8080 goffi
php: error while loading shared libraries: libicuio.so.70: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

To address this, I attempted to create symbolic links for the missing ICU libraries:

# Create symbolic link for all the libicu
RUN ln -s /usr/lib/libicuio.so.74 /usr/lib/libicuio.so.70
RUN ln -s /usr/lib/libicui18n.so.74 /usr/lib/libicui18n.so.70
RUN ln -s /usr/lib/libicudata.so.74 /usr/lib/libicudata.so.70
RUN ln -s /usr/lib/libicutest.so.74 /usr/lib/libicutest.so.70
RUN ln -s /usr/lib/libicutu.so.74 /usr/lib/libicutu.so.70
RUN ln -s /usr/lib/libicuuc.so.74 /usr/lib/libicuuc.so.70

However, after creating these symlinks, I encountered another error:

php: symbol lookup error: php: undefined symbol: _ZTIN6icu_7017StringEnumerationE

It appears that this issue is related to the ICU version, as Alpine only provides versions greater than 75.

Has anyone else faced a similar issue, or does anyone have suggestions on how to resolve this? Your help would be greatly appreciated.
