What is Namma Yatri? What differentiates Namma Yatri from other mobility platforms? Why is switching to Namma Yatri a long-term boon? Why Juspay wanted to sink its teeth in this rugged space?
What is Open mobility? What does a no commission Direct-to-Driver app mean? How can auto drivers and leading tech providers come together as a symbiotic community?
Where did Namma Yatri begun? How does the road travelled by Namma Yatri so far look like? What is Namma Yatri's future, who can decide it and How can they contribute?
All these questions can be answered by anyone from the tech, product or marketing crew of Namma Yatri. But what if these answers come from Namma Yatri's Auto-driver partners?
Since our Auto Drivers truly believe and embody our brand's ideals, we wanted them to answer these questions as our Brand Ambassadors.
Namma Yatri's Referral Program is built on the lines of this novel approach where Auto-drivers share their stories, testimonials, and tips about Namma Yatri. When they narrate the story of Namma Yatri to their passengers they showcase their obsession to hard work and their obsession for users' trust, which reflects our motto- ನಮ್ಮ ಕೆಲಸ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಂಬಿಕೆ (translates to- 'Our Work, your Trust')
There are three broad goals of this program- User Acquisition and Activation, Driver Engagement and Brand Equity Building.
The program involves assigning a unique referral code to each Namma Yatri Driver Partner. Using this Referral code, drivers have to pitch Namma Yatri to their passengers. Once a passenger installs Namma Yatri using their referral code and makes his/her first ride we consider the user activated and make the driver eligible for rewards. And yes, it does not end there, drivers get multiple rewards at various milestones based on number of user who get activated using their referral code. (Milestones are at 10 activated users, then 25, 50, 100, 200, and so on)
Drivers can win a wide range of rewards- Metal Water bottles, Khaki shirt, fuel, and so on.
We are already creating a huge buzz around this on YouTube
We started the program on 3rd March, 2023, and we already have assigned ~6K Drivers with their unique Referral Code at our offline Namma Yatri Kiosks, where they are also provided with Namma Yatri stickers Auto Danglers. These drivers successfully onboarded ~3K users on to Namma Yatri platform using their referral code. Of these 3K users, around ~2K took their first ride making drivers eligible for their first milestone reward.
This is one of many more creative ways of promoting Namma Yatri we have initiated and we are also open for community contribution on many such creative brand building ideas. Please feel free to add comments/suggestions.
