RAK Wisblok - Additional sensors - temp/baro

I was mulling over the idea of adding a BME680 sensor to the RAK4631 home gateway setup...would this show up or would it involve a bit of coding? Ultimately I wish to get a node map and weather information into Home Assistant and thought the temp/baro might be easy this way....or not, and just build an esp32 station??!!

Just finished installing a couple of RAK I/O daughterboards and connecting BME280 sensors to my 4631 starter kits.
I use Meshtastic.
Enable the top 3 toggles in telemetry left everything else default (0).
The temperature, barometer and humidity began showing on the connected tablet.
Meshtastic has some nice graphics displaying the data over time.
I did have one bad BME280 sensor out of the package of 5. (Chinese Ebay).

I've the RAK19007 and presumed I bought RAK's own sensor with the wisblok connector. Is there another way to attach a standard sensor via an I/O board? Is that the route you've gone, I've searched I/O boards but nothing stands out?

You can attach i2c sensors to the i2c pins on the baseboard (J12 header: https://docs.rakwireless.com/product-categories/wisblock/rak19007/datasheet/#j12-header-pinout)
