Do not dismiss modals on clicking on background

The app has quite a few modal interfaces. Many of them have a lot of fields to fill in. All of them dismiss if you accidentally click the page background with no warning. When the modal closes, partially filled fields do not persist the data. This happens to me repeatedly where I lose the work in there because of an accidental click or escape press. Two options to solve would be (and you could do both)

1. Add an are you sure function on the modal close to check if the underlying form is dirty
2. Don't allow the modal dismiss on background clicks and require the user to either click the x or submit the form
