Hi, according to GitHub's documentation, there is a variable called
GITHUB_REPOSITORY
that contains the repository name in the format owner/repository. Additionally, there is another variable, `GITHUB_REPOSITORY_OWNER, that contains only the repository owner. Is there a specific reason why there isn't a third variable, perhaps called
GITHUB_REPOSITORY_NAME
, to store just the repository name? This would eliminate the need to extract it manually fromGITHUB_REPOSITORY
every time.Same for contexts where we have
github.repository
andgithub.repository_owner
but nogithub.repository_name
.Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
