Enforcing TOTP for Passkey users

I was already a passkey user weeks ago. Recently, I was literally forced to "enable 2FA" by either setting up a TOTP or SMS authentication method, both of which are inferior to passkeys. After setting up TOTP, I can log in with passkey, no TOTP is required to log in. WTF??

Not sure. Mine is about requiring SMS/TOTP while passkey is already set, theirs is about SMS/TOTP acting as a backdoor (downgrade) to passkey-secured account.
