Archway v9 Upgrade and Potential Impact on Dapps

With the release of the new v9 upgrade to the Constantine testnet, several improvements have been made that may impact developers using Arch3.js for batch client connections and the archwayd client for interacting with nodes. Additionally, an issue with SubQuery has been identified.

Arch3.js

To ensure compatibility and avoid potential issues, we strongly recommend upgrading to the latest Arch3.js release: v0.7.3, which includes fixes for this update.

Archwayd

Additionally, some commands within the archwayd client have been changed with this upgrade. We recommend using the --help flag to view the possible new configurations for commands.

SubQuery

If you are using SubQuery version 3, we advise that you upgrade to version 4, as it introduces support for the Comet38Client.
