Today I was testing on my 'new' laptop how openMSX
would run. All was running fine until I stumbled upon a
problem... my laptop was unable to support openGL.
So when I selected the openGL renderer openMSX
crashed without any error message or so ever. The
grayed out selectbox showed SDLGL as the renderer...
so with every attempt openMSX kept on crashing.
The only way to counter this was to delete the settings-
file. I'm quite an advanced user but I can imagine that a
regular user starts panicing and deceides that openMSX
is a piece of crap (which I would think when something
wasn't working right ;)
Anyway..... please make the render select
box 'selectable' again before openMSX starts. (Or
implement a button which allows you to go back to the
default settings)
this is actually a bug report too. i'll file a different one
for that.
