Some submissions are invalid and thus the /submissions page cannot be ordered ascending by date: submission.exercise is nil.

Currently, we handle missing exercises gracefully and prevent an exception. Therefore, the submission page is now working again as expected. Nevertheless, we still have the inconsistencies that some submissions are stored without a valid exercise.
