On Mac, Command-Q does not quit the app #348
Comments
agree to this issue - since 2.0.4 |
The command is there, but when you press cmd-Q the main window closes but the app doesn't quit. You have to choose Quit from the menubar menu or the dock to actually quit the program. It's a pain, EVERYTHING else respects cmd-Q. |
Yeah, I agree with that, this made me even googling the problem and eventually lead me here :) By the way, at least on Yosemite Koala > Quit also doesn't work. Only quitting it from the dock. I would not say that it is awful once you figure it out but still I see no reason why not to keep it standard and assign quitting on cmd+Q. Anyway, thanks for your good work on the app! |
+1, any workaround ? |
Quitting the app is only possible via the dock icon. Please assign the common shortcut Command-Q to quit the app.
