Hi there 👋. I'm a co-maintainer of the exa port over at MacPorts, and I noticed on the exa website that only Homebrew is documented as a method of installation on macOS. I absolutely love Homebrew 🍺, but MacPorts also provides some special features for exa that users might find interesting.
Different variants of exa such as the ability to turn on/off git support.
Binaries and support for exa on much older versions of macOS.
I've added the notes on variants to the README (which I'll send in a PR), but I couldn't find out how to contribute to the website. Please let me know if anything's unclear, and thank you for your help and this amazing project.

Hi, are you going to send a PR to add the MacPorts instructions to the README?
By the way, I’m not sure if MacPorts offers the possibility to build for latest git, I recently changed where the shell completions scripts are in #860 so you might want to know about it.
Thanks for chasing me up on this @ariasuni. My original thoughts were to document the git/doc variants, but on second thoughts, I think it looks neater how it's already presented since the variants are enabled by default.

Thanks for the heads up. This will only become an issue for the majority of package managers when you release a new version (except Homebrew, as you already know). I'll make the change then.
Thank you again for maintaining this amazing project!
EDIT: I'll keep the issue open, since it was mainly about updating the website.
