Would it be possible to include the process ID in the log messages? Something like %(pid) for example.

Sure can add it as an option in the pattern formatter

Thanks @odygrd. I'm trying to mimic the syslog format to a degree, and this change really helps with that.

This is done now, you can use %(process)
