Starting from nwg-shell 0.5.30, we have a new shell dependency: nwg-readme-browser. The program is a browser of README.* files installed in /usr/share/doc (the path may be changed in the config file). When started with the -i | --internal argument, it will show a predefined list of nwg-shell-related READMEs. Corresponding menu entry you'll find in the latest nwg-panel.
While packaging, please make sure that:
Your nwg-* packages ship with the README.md file.
You added nwg-readme-browser to nwg-shell dependencies.
Your preinstalled nwg-panel configs (if you use any on a live ISO) contain "readme" in the "controls"["settings"]["components"] list.
If you'd like to add some package names to the READMEs list, you can pre-install you own ~/.config/nwg-readme-browser/config.json (the default one is auto-generated on 1st program run), and start the program with nwg-readme-browser -c (instead of -i).
