Some points about GPT4All that can confuse users (e.g. #2349, #2367):

The GPT4All model will not access the internet on your behalf.
The GPT4All model cannot see the files on your computer directly. It can only see relevant snippets of files you add to a LocalDocs collection.
GPT4All does not support integrated GPUs or APUs (i.e. laptop GPUs, excluding NVIDIA) or dedicated Intel GPUs.

Some things were in the old documentation:

LocalDocs can/cannot ...
I guess the old FAQ had some additional info, but it definitely needed an overhaul.

Other than that:

I'm not sure 'will not access the internet on your behalf' has been mentioned before in the docs, but it would certainly be a good addition.
Last point recently came up in this discussion, as well.
