CPU Pooler for Kubernetes

Contributions for the project are warmly welcome. The project uses Go programming language so a knowledge and experience of Go language is needed. The source code is formatted with gofmt. All code contributions are expected to be formatted with gofmt to keep the source code style consistent.

How to make a contribution

  • Fork the project repository associated to your local GitHub organization / personal account.
  • Clone the repository to you local machine: git clone https://github.com/<Name>/CPU-Pooler.git
  • Create a new branch for your fix using git checkout -b <branch-name>.
  • Make the changes and commit them to your local repository. Please test Your changes to make sure old functionality is not broken and new functionality works like expected. Add unit tests if needed.
  • Push the changes to the remote repository using git push origin <branch-name>.
  • Submit a pull request to the upstream repository
  • Title the pull request with a short description of the changes made.
  • In the description of the pull request, explain the changes that you made.
  • Squash and merge will be used for merging the PR so please format the PR with that in mind. If really needed, other merge options can be used.
  • Wait for the pull request to be reviewed by a maintainer.
  • Make changes to the pull request if the reviewing maintainer recommends them.
