In many cases in production dependencies are installed either in CI/CD steps or in docker multi-staged builds. So having npm and yarn inside only increases image size.
For that cases it will be very nice to have such images. Probably even with statically linked build of node itself.
It could reduce image size by ~4-5 Mb that's ~15-20% of current alpine image size.
