Linux to Linux connection blue screen

Hello,

I have installed xrdp and tested it with these distributions and desktops:

Debian 9:

• xrdp 0.9.9, gnome
• xrdp 0.9.9, kde
• xrdp 0.9.9, xfce

Debian 10:

• xrdp 0.9.9, gnome
• xrdp 0.9.12, gnome
• xrdp 0.9.9, kde
• xrdp 0.9.12, kde
• xrdp 0.9.9, xfce
• xrdp 0.9.12, xfce

CentOS 7:

• xrdp 0.9.12, gnome

All these combinations work fine where I use Windows Remote Desktop Connection. But when I try to connect by some Linux client as vinagre or Remmina, I got this screen:

My bad. I did not notice the clients what you mention as supported on the top of the description in this repository. It can be closed.

It should work fine with Remmina.

What backend are you using? Xvnc or Xorg? Have you tried both?

In server configuration both options were allowed. But in this window (on the screen) I ussualy choose which backend I want to use. Is there any another way how to choose it?

No - you're quite right. Silly question on my part.

Are you able to post the xrdp.log following an attempt to connect via remmina? Also, try running remmina from the command line and see if it prints any information out.

Also, which versions of remmina and freerdp2 are you using?
At the moment it works for me with the remmina-next PPA packages on bionic, available from here:-

Hi,
I have the same issue. I have Remmina v1.3.3 on Debian10. And Centos7 with xrdp v0.9.13
It seems that enabling "Relax Order Check" and "Glyph Cache" in Advanced tab in "Remote Desktop Preference" in Remmina helps.

I suppose it is related to this issues #1266 #1229 as I have this error in the log:
