Reporting a bug and looking for a possible workaround.

- What is the current behavior?
I'm attempting to use the VGS addon for Netlify Forms. I added the addon via netlify addons:create vgs and all went well. When I link the site via netlify link everything is fine. But then when I proceed to netlify addons:auth vgs I receive the error message:

FetchError: invalid json response body at https://api.netlify.com/api/v1/sites/3228d8fe-b2e0-4ad7-8f1a-6fe8eb62f2f1/service-instances reason: Unexpected token < in JSON at position 1

This bug appears to be similar to #174 but not quite the same as deploys are working just fine.
