Update MIBs (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Stormshield) #228
Comments
I find a way to manage the upload of MIB in Netdisco. But with these new ones, nothing much change. |
Simply adding MIBs has no effect on Netdisco; MIBs are only used when specifically referenced by an appropriate device class in SNMP::Info. I haven't checked yet, but my guess is that a new device class for "Stormshield" is needed in SNMP::Info. |
Indeed lask week I understand that point so I have created a Stormshield.pm (subclasses) for this device. Now I have the vendor in Netdisco but not all the information. Hi,
I didn't find any information to update mibs myself.
I sent you the following MIBs necessary for the new version.
Actually, for example, the Palo Alto MiB isn't able to show the hardware status, the connected equipment …
If you have time, I would be interested to update MiB myself in the future, if it is possible.
Thks
