What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. In Parrot 2 configuration, navigate to Events -> Notification -> Uncategorized -> Experience gains.
  2. Check the Enabled option checkbox to enable experience gains.
  3. Disable the Sticky option checkbox.
  4. In combat, kill a mob that grants experience. Observe that experience gains are displayed by both Parrot 2 as well as the default game.
  5. Turn in a quest that grants experience. Observe that experience gains are displayed by both Parrot 2 as well as the default game.

What version of Parrot are you using?

Parrot-v2.2.1 downloaded from https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/parrot2/files/3115750

The WoW game version is the current retail build, 9.0.2.36949 build from Dec 14 2020

Do you have an error log of what happened?

Not applicable, since there is no error. Screenshots uploaded to imgur.

  1. Showing Parrot 2 configuration: https://i.imgur.com/Kn5dtA0.jpeg
  2. Showing experience gains after a mob kill: https://i.imgur.com/tjK6hTy.jpeg
  3. Showing experience gains after a quest turn in: https://i.imgur.com/zqKwI8e.jpeg

The blue arrow drawn on the image shows the Parrot 2 experience gain. This is correctly being displayed.

The red arrow drawn on the image shows the default game experience gain. This is incorrectly being displayed and should be hidden since the Parrot 2 experience gain is enabled.

I'm not sure if that text is something you can disable.

Oh that's a shame. I really do prefer my customized look over Blizzard's default ugly looking text, but would rather not show both. I guess I will disable this option in Parrot 2 for now. Thanks for the response.
