Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
#688/#689 implement bug and argument check macros. The default setting matches what unit tests currently check for. Any other setting won't pass unit tests (disabling checks will cause segfaults/errors, strict will abort the tests).

Describe the solution you'd like

  • Implement argument check tests in a way they can be easily skipped based on settings
  • Add option to skip

None.
