Following up on #194, it should be possible to somehow specify a custom trust store when connecting to Maven Central. It's probably already possible, even in native executable mode, but it must be clear in the MCS docs how to use it.

It works but is undocumented, as you said:

mcs -Djavax.net.ssl.trustStore=/path/to/keystore search something
