i would really love to replace the CGO, so its more portable.

Language detector:
https://github.com/abadojack/whatlanggo

replaces https://github.com/blevesearch/cld2
it looks pretty well tested

Word Stemming:
There are a few around in golang. Still researching.

Let me know your thoughts...
