Adding legends to the plot

Hi I started trying the package for phylogenetic circular plot. I was a heavy R users so I'm not super familiar with plotting in python. I wonder if anyone know what would be the best way to add legends to the circular plot, for example, annotation of the heatmap track and color by genus level? Thanks!
