Stream doesn't work anymore since v1.0.0 #231
Comments
I have the exact same problem as yours!! |
Please post the details text from the crash dialog. |
@cgutman the crash dialog is a macOs one with the following : Moonlight quit unexpectedly (Ignore / Report / Reopen buttons are available). Moonlight crash just after the text "starting video stream establishment..." appears. I am using macOs version Mojave 10.14.4 |
@arthurmchr does the crash go away if you disable V-sync in the Moonlight settings? |
@cgutman V-sync is already disabled. I tried to set to "Automatic" Video decoder and Video codec. Got the same result. |
Got it. I reproduced the issue here. It only happens if V-sync is disabled (which is not default). I did test that case when making changes, but it didn't crash when I was testing. I will release a hotfix shortly. |
Fixed by 4f74fd5. I updated the v1.0.0 macOS release to the patched version, so re-download from the releases page to get the patched build. Thanks for the prompt report and logs. |
Since v1.0.0 on macOs, I am not able to start the stream anymore. When I click on the program I want to stream (Desktop), it starts loading, then the window close and I get a bug report saying that moonlight has stop working.
If I revert moonlight-qt version to v0.10.1 it works.
It does the same if I try to stream a game instead of Desktop
I tried streaming two differents PCs running Window 10, got the same result.
