Installation

  • type git clone https://github.com/mkn777/ECSE.git projectname to clone the repository or download the zip content

  • type cd projectname

  • type composer install

  • type composer update

  • type copy .env.example .env

  • type php artisan key:generate to generate secure key in .env file

  • in .env file :

    • set DB_CONNECTION (for example mysql )
    • set DB_DATABASE (choose a name for your database )
    • set DB_USERNAME
    • set DB_PASSWORD
  • create the database which you mentioned in .env file

  • select your database and execute booktrad_adv.sql queries in it .

  • finally , open cmd and go to your project root and type php artisan serve

  • now should be able to see the website on localhost:8000
