You mention power being interrupted while the inverter restarts, does that mean you have all of your loads connected to the backup port of the inverter? Apart from some weird interaction with running states flapping back and forth during startup, causing one of the automations to tell the inverter to shut down while it was starting up, there's no reason to assume this integration is causing the restarts. You could check in Home Assistant's log book or in the automations' traces to see if any of them triggered close to when the problem occurs. Bonus: if you have evcc and Home Assistant accessing the inverter at the same time, it's a good idea to use a Modbus proxy to avoid making the not-so-great Modbus stack on the inverter mad. Evcc includes one, I think. However, this doesn't cause restarts. The Modbus interface just stops responding and it can be fixed by unplugging the network cable for a minute or so. |

Hello everyone,
I implemented the "Sungrow-SHx-Inverter-Modbus-Home-Assistant" several months ago successfully - I can monitor all values of the inverter and the battery.
Unfortunately, sometimes (2-4 weeks) the inverter reboots without any particular reason, the power is interrupted for around 5 minutes, if the inverter is back, everything works as before.
So, I'm currently not sure, if this tool is the reason for this behaviour - have any of you had similar experiences?
To avoid any influence of the application, I deactivated the addon in the HA and now I’m waiting if the inverter restarts again within the next few weeks. Any better ideas?
My Inverter: SH10RT-V112
My Battery: SBR096
Wired connection via inverter LAN port
The wallbox is also connected to my HA and controlled with EVCC - during the last power outages, no vehicle was connected to the wallbox.
All the best,
Alexander
