Looks like some flavour of linux from the source?

What about Windows? Mac? 101+ other platforms perl runs on...?

I think you're supposed to report a bug when it doesn't run on a perl / platform that you care about... Most perl is just assumed to run "where ever you can get a modern-ish perl to run"
