If I go into my user profile and locate the new version gallery-dl exe and run cmd or powershell and get the version # it shows up correct and will use the new version but I was running gallery-dl i believe from an external hard drive could of sworn i installed using the source code back around 2023? I have an old rar or zip file named gallery-dl master ? how do i get it to use my old directory i've played with variables a bit also its using python 3.10 and would like 3.13 to be default. I have a feeling it's an eviroment variable thats not set right? it shows its using old version 1.26.7

what are you asking? The gallery-dl i believe it's using was installed from an exe standalone I tried both the standalone and pip install. pip installed it into my user profile under appdata roaming etc thats the updated version the old version i feel was installed on an external drive and that seems to be the one it wants to keep using
python "c:\users\admin of asus\appdata\roaming\python\python313\scripts\gallery-dl.exe" this works if i point it to the right place from my current download gallery-dl download directory
