Cursor move up or down

Cursor should stay on same column when user moves it up or down.

Example:

We have 3 lines. First line is 10 characters long, second 5, third 10. Cursor on position (8, 1). User moved cursor down. Cursor: (5, 2). User moved cursor down. Cursor: (5, 3). I want to jump for cursor instead (5,3) to (8, 3).
