Hi, this is probably a bug in ffmpeg (which losslesscut relies on) where it incorrectly changes the metadata of the audio from multichannel to stereo when merging. Unfortunately it's hard for me to fix, and we can only hope that ffmpeg fixes it in the future. An alternative might be to edit the output file metadata with a tool like exiftool and change the channel layout back to multichannel. Related: #1027 |

Hello - the main reason I got this app was thinking it can merge separate MKV files (01, 02, 03, etc) from the same movie with the lossless "multichannel" audio format, but your app converts it to stereo by default. Why? Your app cannot support multichannel audio? It defeats my purpose of usage. The merging of videos is good, but not the audio part. I should be able to keep the same lossless audio as the source. Please advise if there is a way to do what I want. Thx.
