"Line height" property makes cursor indicator bigger. In Sublime Text {"line_padding_bottom", "line_padding_top"} is much better actually.

Just came across this config today, and the result is not visually good. I have to agree that padding would be much nicer solution.

it would be better, if editor cursor have height options to set.
for example: editor.cursorHeght: 10
