Currently RemoteHub will not attempt a sync if you have any uncommitted changes, which leads to #115. We now display a dialog when there are uncommitted changes preventing a sync. @misolori had the following feedback:

Ran into this message today and immediately went 😱 because of the commits behind, but realized it was some random file i didn’t even touch, hit sync, and the repo went back to normal. I kinda expected for it to just attempt to “sync” before prompting me though.
