I am equally curious where this extension is going. Perhaps the main ReadMe could have a little discussion about where this is headed. |
Like those above, I am also interested in where this is going (if it's even still under development). Would love to have a more modern alternative to RISE. |

I would add to this that I currently teach a University course where I use RISE extensively to present data and analyses. The advantage of RISE is that it allows live coding and exercises that enable me to better engage the students. Despite the fact that I do not live code the majority of the presentation, the ability to do so for selected examples and student exercises is huge. In my opinion, and with student engagement being a heavily emphasized factor in modern teaching, this feature will be of considerable use to the teaching community. |

Was pleased to see this extension, then surprised that it only seems to support editing the slide types of cells. As a current user of RISE, am very curious what a presentation experience in VSCode would/could be like.
