Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

In the past we did not collect orphaned connections for the connection identities table. In order to prepare for the upcoming work to help clean up connections we need to store these
Also it leads to more API calls over time as we dont add them and keep gathering and doing the apply-to-each with them so this is good even on its own
