I like the Powertoys run utility in this new update. Could sysdm.cpl or any of the other of the other .cpl applets be added?

It's possible by using shell execute: e.g. > appwiz.cpl
Still, it would be awesome if it would work natively.

This would be great to be able to search settings / control panel. This is one of the functionalities I like about Wox because honestly, settings in Windows are a nightmare to navigate.

FYI, another workaround is to index the whole system in Windows Search settngs. Then *.cpl results appear as file (search) results.

But they really should appear as "Run command" results, like regedit, msinfo32, cmd, etc.
